Don't confuse plant-based eating with veganism.

When you eat a plant-based diet, you don't necessarily have to give up all animal products. How much you choose to cut back is ultimately up to you. On the other hand, a strictly vegan diet is not necessarily a healthy diet, either. There is so much processed vegan junk food available today that you can be completely vegan and still suffer the same diseases that affect non-vegans. Remember, our primary focus is on improving your health, not that of the animal.
